In April, churches are invited to join in a prayer initiative called
Strike the Ground.
This is a national call for the UK at this time.
There is a spiritual battle for souls, and your voice is needed to cry out to God for mercy for our nation. That God's kingdom will come and his will be done here as it is in heaven.
It begins on April 7th and lasts until April 16th.
10 days to prayer walk your community.
We are calling believers across the UK and Ireland to "Strike the Ground". A 10 day movement of prayer on the ground, in neighbourhoods, streets, city centres, villages, schools and regions across these nations.
Let us join in together to pray over Shrewsbury, Shropshire and beyond. May the name of Jesus be known on our streets.

Where your feet step you strike the ground with His presence. 2 Kings 13 18-19 describes Elisha the prophet instructing the king to strike the ground to gain the victory. The striking the ground can indicate the fervency of our prayers to bring about turning the battle for the UK.
